Why aren't my apps being blocked?
StoicWalk requires Screen Time permission to block apps. Go to Settings → Screen Time and make sure Screen Time is enabled. Then open StoicWalk and re-grant the FamilyControls permission when prompted. If the issue persists, try quitting and relaunching the app.
My step count isn't updating.
StoicWalk reads step data from Apple Health. Make sure you have granted HealthKit access: go to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → StoicWalk and ensure "Steps" is enabled for both reading and writing. It may take a few minutes for new steps to sync.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find StoicWalk, and tap "Cancel Subscription". You'll keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.
Can I change my daily step goal?
Yes. Open StoicWalk, go to Settings (the gear icon), and adjust your daily step goal there. The change takes effect immediately.
What happens in an emergency if my apps are blocked?
Emergency calls are never blocked by Screen Time — you can always call emergency services. For other urgent calls or messages, you can also temporarily disable Screen Time in your iPhone Settings.
I lost my streak — can you restore it?
Unfortunately we cannot manually adjust streak data. Streaks are based on verified step data from Apple Health to keep things fair. Make sure your step goal is reached before midnight each day to maintain your streak.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, send me an email at dymkehenrik@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account". I'll process your request within 30 days in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
Which iPhone models and iOS versions are supported?
StoicWalk requires iOS 18.2 or later. The FamilyControls framework used for app blocking is supported on all iPhones running iOS 18.2+.
